Healthy Game Day Appetizers

We all know at least half of the fun of any game day is what you get to eat! I am sharing two of my favorite healthy recipes for watching any big game, from College Football to the World Series these recipes will become a staple amongst your friends for their big flavors and nutrient dense ingredients. To make it even better, they are all Whole 30 and Paleo approved!

Cauliflower Wings

First off are my famous (according to my husband) Cauliflower Wings! These tangy wings are a great option for vegetarians and meat lovers alike, we recommend making a double batch, so no one misses out on this crowd favorite.

You can use coconut yogurt or my healthy ranch dip from my Cookbook ‘Simply Balanced’ (link to cookbook)

Fun Fact: Coconut yogurt is still packed with calcium, just like dairy yogurt and it also contains potassium, zinc, selenium, and B-vitamins.

Cauliflower provides some powerful health benefits and is packed with many nutrients. Plus, cauliflower contains unique antioxidants that may reduce inflammation and protect against several diseases, such as cancer and heart disease.

What’s more, cauliflower is easy to add your diet. It’s tasty, easy to prepare and can replace high-carb foods in several recipes.

Layered Taco Dip

Layered Taco Dip

Next up is my just as loved Layered Taco Dip, to keep this dip Whole 30 or Paleo simply use grain free chips!

This recipe is so simple and takes little time to put it together. In the time it would take you to drive to the store and pick up a taco style dip you could have this healthier option made and ready to serve! Personally, I like to add extra olives but I will leave that up to you!
